If your freight is longer than eight feet, you may have to pay an overlength fee. Check with your carrier for their policies on overlength cargo.

Be prepared for your pickup. If you cause any delays for the driver there will be repercussions for their overall work and you will be billed for that disruption.

More than one company can be used to ship LTL freight. If you are using a freight broker or 3PL, they may coordinate local carriers with national carriers to get the best rate on your shipment.
